Useful Information

If you are looking to place an order or track your order with us at Wild, we have added some helpful points below along with our contact details if you should want to get in touch.
  • We take all of our orders via our website currently.
  • Once you have selected your item and added it to your cart you can proceed to check out and from there select the correct payment method for you. (Payfast, Snapscan, Credit Card, EFT, Zapper)
  • Once the order and payment has been received on our side you will receive a payment confirmation explaining that we have received payment and that your order is automatically added in to production.
  • We currently have a 4 WEEK PRODUCTION TIME on ALL orders leaving our studio. As all of our products are all hand made to order this is the reason for the lengthy production time.
  • Unfortunately we cannot take requests for early delivery at this moment however if we do have extra stock on hand your order will be sent out right away.
  • Once your order is packaged and ready to be collected via the courier you will then see an email including your tracking number so you can follow up on it's arrival to your door.
  • We recommend adding our email address to your contact email list so you don't miss out on important updates or tracking information.
  • We understand the suspense and excitement during the production time and we just ask for your patience during those 4 weeks and trusting that we will be in touch once your order is ready to be sent out.

 

Our Return/Exchange Policy

With regards to all Bags & purses, the following applies:

A return or exchange can be processed within 7 days of receiving your order. 

Returns with full refunds will only be accepted on damaged or defective items - to which there will be no shipping or courier costs incurred to the customer in processing the return and subsequent refund.  

Images or evidence of the damaged/defective product will be required in order to begin the process, whereby we will book a courier to pick the product up from the customer. 

We will only process the refund once the product has arrived back with us and we have assessed the damaged or defective product.

We will not accept refunds or returns on custom items / colours. 

If an exchange is requested for non-damaged/defective products, the customer must arrange a return to our address once we have received the item back in good order, we will then add the exchanges item in to production. If there is a difference in price for the new item this will be at the customers expense along with the courier fee for the following delivery.

For All shoe & slipper items the following applies:

For damaged/defective products, the same policy as per above applies.  

For returns or exchanges due to incorrect sizing, it must be requested within 7 days of receiving the product. We will not accept returns or exchanges on worn in shoes/slippers unless they are damaged or defected. 

In the event of which a size exchange is requested, the customer must arrange a return to our address. Once we have received the item back in good order, we will then add the exchanges item in to production or send out the following size if we have stock. If there is a difference in price for the new item this will be at the customers expense along with the courier fee for the following delivery.

WILD LEATHER RESERVES THE RIGHT TO REFUSE A RETURN IF THE PRODUCT SHOWS SIGNS OF USE OR HAS BEEN DAMAGED 

 

 

WARRANTY & EXTENDED WARRANTY

 

The standard warranty for all bags & purses is a 12 month warranty. For the first 6 months we will cover the cost of the courier fees, after 6 months after purchase date customer will be required to cover their own courier cost.

 

The standard warranty for all shoes & slippers is a 6 month warranty. For the first 6 months we will cover the cost of the courier fees, We unfortunately cannot facilitate returns that fall outside of the 6 month warranty period.

 

WARRANTY TERMS & CONDITIONS

Should a product be defective we are happy to assess the defect and perform the following:

  • Repair the identified defect.
  • Exchange the defective product.
  • Wild Leather reserves the right to elect whether the product should be repaired or exchanged based on a physical inspection of the defective product.

A product defect specifically excludes damage arising from the following:

  • Damage arising from normal wear and tear,
  • Damage arising from any alterations to the product,
  • Damage arising from negligence, incorrect use or abuse of the product,
  • Damage arising from inadequate care that could reasonably be expected 

 

We are a small business manufacturing in Cape Town using local suppliers and local staff to support our local communities, please be aware that as a smaller business we can run in to slight delays. We make our products to last a lifetime and we take great care in every single stitch. We do this out of passion and we can guarantee 4 weeks of manufacturing cannot take away from having a handbag or purse for a lifetime.
